COMPETENCY FRAMEWORK

The STEP project responded to the need to develop a recognised competency framework or validation process for support workers in the non-formal learning segment of the creative and cultural sector.  Based upon findings, results and recommendations emerging from the development of the Comparative Study, exploration of the diverse non-formal learning environments across the partnership, transfer of the CrossWorker model to STEP, and non-formal learning practitioners operating within the Creative and Cultural Industries sector, resulted in the development of a common Competency Framework for creative CrossWorkers employed in the sector.
